Postlethwaite Hill Architects is an architectural practice based between Norfolk and London, specialising in residential and small commercial projects. We focus on creating thoughtful, sustainable designs that enhance the quality of everyday life. Our services span from concept design and planning through to detailed technical drawings and construction oversight. We work closely with clients to ensure their vision is realised with a balance of creativity and practicality.

With experience gained from leading London practices, we approach each project with a broad perspective, embracing the challenges of unique sites and diverse design requirements. We value collaboration and are committed to delivering designs that are both functional and inspiring.

  • Director, Architect (ARB)

    BA(Hons), MArch, DIPArch

    Laura is a qualified architect with extensive experience working on a wide range of mixed-use and residential projects across London. She has worked at award-winning practices Glenn Howells and Assael Architecture, where she was a senior architect. Through these roles, she developed expertise in early-stage concept design and navigating the complexities of planning approvals.

    Passionate about designing spaces that enhance everyday living, Laura focuses on creating environments that are not only beautiful and elegant but also functional and welcoming—places where people can truly feel at home.

    Outside of architecture, Laura has a deep appreciation for contemporary dance, enjoying the creativity and expression it allows. She also has a passion for adventure and endurance challenges, having cycled unsupported from the UK to Montenegro in the summer of 2024. She is now training for the London Marathon in 2025.

  • Director, Architect (ARB)

    BA(Hons), MArch, DIPArch

    Adam is a qualified architect with extensive experience across the education, infrastructure, and hospitality sectors. He began his career at Hugh Broughton Architects, working on a series of scientific research stations in Antarctica, before moving to Foster + Partners, where he led large hospitality projects in the Middle East as an Associate.

    Having worked on projects through to construction, Adam brings valuable expertise in project management, design coordination, and technical resolution. His experience includes leading multidisciplinary teams and liaising with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality, well-executed designs.

    Alongside his practical experience, he has also pursued an academic career, earning a nomination for the RIBA Dissertation Medal and teaching architectural design at Newcastle University.

    Outside of architecture, Adam is an accomplished ultramarathon runner, most notably achieving a 100-mile personal record of 18 hours and 40 minutes on the Thames Path in 2022.
